Curator’s Note

We were drawn to this Mondrian piece for the Brighton studio because of its incredible "graphic pop." When testing these, we were particularly impressed by how the black lines remain sharp and deep even after multiple washes, without any bleeding into the white or yellow sections. We chose this 100% cotton weave because it is lint-free, making it the perfect tool for polishing glassware to a streak-free, gallery-standard finish. Sam, Mybolife Curator

The Birth of Neo-Plasticism

Piet Mondrian was a pioneer of 20th-century abstract art, developing a style he called "Neo-Plasticism". He believed that by using only the most basic elements—primary colours and straight lines—he could express a universal sense of balance and harmony. This design is a celebration of that radical simplicity, proving that even a functional kitchen item can carry the weight of a revolutionary artistic movement.

A Sensory Kitchen Experience

There is something deeply satisfying about the orderly, architectural feel of this towel. The 185gsm cotton has a substantial, high-quality weight that feels professional in the hand, providing excellent grip when drying heavy pots or delicate china. Visually, the bright red, blue, and yellow blocks act as a "tonic" for the eyes, bringing a sense of structured, restorative energy to your daily kitchen routine. It is a tactile reminder that beauty and order go hand-in-hand.

Who is it for?

This is a standout gift for architects, designers, or anyone with a penchant for minimalist, modern interiors. It is an ideal choice for a UK letterbox gift, offering a slice of world-class museum culture in a practical, everyday format. Whether it is hanging in a contemporary Brighton flat or a traditional country kitchen, it brings a timeless, sophisticated edge to the home.
